Device State
Device state refer to device behavior. Please refer to MQTT Standard Interface section Topology -> Devices -> Device Behavior.
Device Status
There are 2 types of device status:
- Activated
- Deactivated
When a device is in activated status, the device is in normal use and may receive and send transactions.
When a device is in deactivated status, the device is not in service which mean any transaction from/to this device will be denied.
Device Log
You can set in every device whether it may get logged or not. If you allow log of a device, then any transaction of any device’s node will be logged and stored to database.
You can set the log limit for every device. Zero (0) means unlimited. This number will be used to keep total log below the limit by deleting old log periodically.
When enabling device log, consider with your global log limit according to your account type. You may get charged for additional exceeding logs.
